Beach Portraits and Beyond - Deborah Kalas -  - Ocean City, MD.

Delaware Professional Photographers is proud to have Deborah Kalas from East Hampton, New York. She also has locations in  Palm Beach and Santa Barbara.

This is an all day (1pm - 9pm) program covering beach portraits, marketing and equestrian photography and more.
Deborah is a photographic storyteller and will cover how she and one assistant gross $550K in 5 months with 60 clients, shooting beach, barn and backyard stories in The Hamptons.   Her program will cover the nitty gritty of getting those clients and completing the job. Weather permitting there will be a photo demonstration on the beach.   Deborah Kalas has appeared on The Today Show, NBC Talk about Pictures, worked for Life and People Magazine. She is a very successful photographer and has built her business to a level that some would think unattainable. Deborah will show how she has done this and show her secrets in getting there!

This is a PPA merited program and includes a full day of information. posing demonstrations, a fun day at a resort on the beach and dinner!  What more can you ask for?  All for only $50 (members and neighboring associations).   Non-members can attend for only $99.  These prices are good until September 1st and after that there is a $25  increase in the fee for all.  Do not wait to register, as there are a limited amount of seats and you will not want to miss this! DEB’S BIO

Deborah Kalas is an accomplished portrait , wedding and equestrian photographer with over 25 years experience. A former photo journalist who worked for People and Life magazine, she has a keen eye for detail and is passionate about capturing the stories in peoples’ lives that become cherished memories. Deborah has extensive photojournalistic and traditional expertise. She is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and holds a Master of Fine Arts in photography.

Deborah’s expertise lies in her ability to capture the emotion and spontaneous moments that could otherwise be overlooked. She puts her subjects at ease, so the essence and personality of everyone she captures shines through. The careful consideration of the location, clothing and props ensures a unique and memorable outcome. Which is why clients and their friends and families return year after year.

Deborah’s accomplishments includes winning first place in the 2000 ANNE/PPA awards and one of her special Hamptons weddings was featured on Lifetime Television. Deborah has exhibited her photographs across the country and her work can be found in many museum collections. An accomplished rider and equestrian photographer, Deborah works from The Hamptons, Palm Beach and Santa Barbara.
