For 50 years, Don has been the dynamo behind Don Blair Photography Studio in Murray, Utah. During these years, not only has he viewed thousands of clients of all ages through his beloved "Mr. Lens", but his acclaimed techniques have been shared enthusiastically for over 25 years through instruction at Winona International School of Professional Photography and hundreds of lectures, seminars, and workshops of state, regional and national levels. His proficiency has been recognized and acclaimed in numerous foreign countries as well.
Always a leader, interested in producing results rather than talking about new directions, Mr. Blair has been an avid advocate of continuous learning and professional growth, putting into implementation innovative and progressive ideas. His dedication encompasses loyalty to his family, his business, his professional associates, and the exemplification of the principles and standards which reside within his very soul.
Perhaps his most readily recognized asset is his warmth and genuineness toward his fellow man. His outreach extends beyond that of an instructor-to-student or photographer-to-client... he truly delights in the successful attainment of others, sowing his seeds of knowledge and wisdom, nourishing both the beginner and the accomplished veteran photographer.
Mr. Blair is a member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers, an Honorary Master of Photography and a Life member of the Japanese Professional Photographers. The most recent of attainments is the highest degree in professional photography... that being the Fellowship in the American Society of Photographers. He is also a Master Photographer, Craftsman, CPP, A-ASP, F-ASP, and has been a member of the Professional Photographers of America for over 45 years. More importantly, he is loved and revered the world over not only for his photographic attainments, but for his humanity towards mankind.
He is an artist... he is a creator of memorable images... he is a teacher and counselor to any who solicit his help... he is steeped in traditional, sound, basic techniques that flourish with tasteful inclusions of creative, imaginative touches.
