I believe to succeed in today's competitive marketplace we have to enable our heart to rise to a higher level of intimacy and understanding of the people we photograph. In so doing we will increase the power and the value of the work we create and sell to our client's. I believe this is the cornerstone of a satisfying and successful vocation as a portrait photographer.
I will use stories, film clips, exercises and slide shows to begin the process of inner change that makes photographing with feeling a true expression of the inner self. Then I will demonstrate the lighting, posing, and communication techniques I use to create sensitive meaningful images. Last I will share the sales, marketing and business image creation methods that have allowed me to succeed in a profession that I love. It is possible to combine artistry with the art of business success!
